Woolworths CEO Brad Banducci’s “shock” resignation doesn’t appear to have come as that much of a surprise to regular customers who have shared what change they hope the new CEO will bring to the supermarket giant.
Mr Banducci announced Wednesday that he would be leaving the company in September of this year on what marks Woolworth’s 100th year.
One shopper told Sky News they are hoping the new boss will “stop ripping customers off.”
Another added they would like the chain to stop “going into the political stuff” and create a more “friendly” shopping environment.
Amanda Bardwell is set to replace Brad Banducci as CEO.
