Julian Assange’s brother, Gabriel Shipton, says Assange is in a “very delicate state of health” and has been “ground down” in his legal fight to avoid extradition to the United States.
Lawyers representing Assange have begun their final legal challenge against the Australian’s extradition to the United States.
“Julian’s in a very delicate state of health,” Mr Shipton said.
“He’s had episodes inside that prison – a mini-stroke.
“He’s been ground down by this process.
“He has good and bad days in terms of his mental health.”
