Six Rural Fire Service (RFS) volunteers have been injured when a water tanker rolled in in the New South Wales Central Tablelands.
Emergency crews were called to White Rock on the outskirts of Bathurst at around 11am on Saturday following reports the vehicle had crashed on the way to battle a blaze.
The six people are understood to have been trapped inside the vehicle.
A woman in her 20s has been airlifted to Westmead Hospital with head and chest injuries, while a man in his 40s has been airlifted to Liverpool hospital with chest and leg injuries.
Two men both aged in their 50s, were taken to Orange hospital with back and side injuries.
Two other volunteers were taken to Bathurst hospital for minor injuries.
