Defence Minister Richard Marles joined Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell to give the latest details on his recent visit to Indonesia.
Mr Marles visited Defence Minister Prabowo Subianto, who claimed victory in the Indonesian general election while citing unofficial tallies.
“The focus of this trip was the defence cooperation agreement that we’ve been working on very closely with Indonesia,” he said.
“In fact, it’s been my third visit to Indonesia in the last nine months.
“As both Prabowo Subianto and myself said after our meeting, we hope to be in a position of signing a defence cooperation agreement between our two countries in the coming months.”
