More than a dozen people have been injured in a heavy-vehicle collision in Western Australia’s Mid West region on Friday morning.
Authorities were alerted of a crash between a truck and a bus on Port Gregory Road in the remote town of Sandy Gully, northwest of Northampton, just after 9am.
A number of emergency services arrived at the crash scene finding five people with injuries, but that toll is now reported to have risen to 15.
WA Police also confirmed in a statement on Friday afternoon the bus involved was operated by a tour company.
At least five ambulance crews and other responders are currently at the location as they work to clear the scene.
Motorists have been advised to steer clear of the area or drive with caution.
