Firefighters are battling a blaze that is threatening the town of Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory.
The massive bushfire has already jumped containment lines and extreme fire conditions are forecasted for today.
There were real concerns yesterday when a wind change saw the wildfire break through containment lines east of the town of Tennant Creek.
Authorities are most concerned for areas south and north of Tennant Creek, two areas where the fire had broken containment line.
No evacuation orders have been put in place for the town as the 150-kilometre-wide fire slowly moves towards the community.
