Trade Minister Don Farrell says he is “persevering” with colleagues in China to remove trade impediments on various Australian products.
“It’s not the end of the story – we’ve still got some significant products that we haven’t yet managed to get back into China,” Mr Farrell told Sky News Australia.
“Wine, lobster, a little bit of meat.”
China has added hay exports to the series of trade restrictions it has lifted in ongoing negotiations with the Australian government.
The move is an encouraging sign that Australia’s delegations are making some headway in improving relations with China.
