A bushfire burning through the Northern Territory has jumped containment lines.
Authorities have confirmed the Barkly fire is moving at a rapid and dangerous speed.
The blaze has scorched one million hectares in under a fortnight.
Firefighters are desperately trying to stop the flames from reaching Tennant Creek, despite wind speeds of up to 50km/hour.
