Tasmanian Attorney-General Elise Archer is resigning from cabinet and quitting parliament at the same time.
The announcement follows bullying allegations and leaked texts which appear to attack Premier Jeremy Rockliff.
Mr Rockliff commented, “I won’t stand for a culture of belittling and a culture whereby people are not valued and respected for the work that they do”.
The move throws the Tasmanian Liberal Party further into minority.
The Premier denied his government was falling apart, despite also losing two party members in May to the crossbench.
